My Korean wife left me and I have no idea where she is

Hi I Married a Korean woman a couple year ago we went through all of the proceedings to get her PR in Canada and last December when she received it within a few weeks she left me and now I have no idea where she is or how to contact her. We had been separated in the past before (because of her infidelity)
I was wondering what my options were for getting a divorce from her. It's almost been a year and I have no idea how to contact her or where she is.

Answer: Thank you for your question. There are two issues relevant for you. First, we can 100% obtain a divorce for you, as long as you have resided in Ontario for at lest one year. We do need to either serve her, or obtain a Judge’s Order for substituted service/dispensing with service. We can do so.

The second issue is your three year sponsorship of her. We may wish to write to the government to alert them of your facts, in case she seeks social assistance, which would then allow the government to make a claim against you for reimbursement.
