Got married and divorced in Brazil. Does it count in Canada?

Hi I moved to Canada years ago. At that time I was married with my ex-wife. Years later we got divorced in Brazil (the divorce took place in Brazil because she was living there at the time).

I want to get married next year but I’m not sure if my divorce counts here, or what should I do to make it valid.

Yes, as long as you have a copy of your divorce order, and the divorce was properly completed, you can re-marry in Canada.
