I have been living in the United States since 2009....I was scammed from a dating site....was told I had to change my last name to his and everything I owned....This is crap..I was w/him from 2007-mid 2009....I want my own name back and refuse to pay for an american divorrce when it was a stupid common law..It has affected me mentally and have done all the right things...

It jis unclear from your post whether or not you were legally married. If you were married, then you need to obtain a divorce to nullify the marriage. If you were living common law, and not married, it is unclear to me why you would have changed your name.

I suggest you consult with a lawyer in your jurisdiction to deal with the specifics of your case.
