Can I return to Canada now that my child has grown up?

I am an unmarried mother in a foreign country at present but was a Canadian citizen. I fled the country when my child was born due to irreconcilable difference SS with my boyfriend. I had to flee because of constant threats from my ex regarding claiming to take away my child. Now my child is all grown up so I wanna come back. Am I in trouble?

You have a right to return to Canada. Make sure that you have a valid passport, of course. In terms of being in trouble, it would depend if you are in violation of Canadian Court Orders – and if so if a Canadian Judge made some type of contempt Order against you.
