I would like some advice on the following: During our stay in Canada my common law partner for ±25 years has left me for another partner. During the last four years in Canada we have purchased a home, in both our names.I went abroard to seek out work as we where finding it difficult to become employed. During this time I have been sending money back to pay for the complete bond of the home. Can I claim the house. Although its in both our names and I have been paying the costs?

If you are both title holders to the home, then you are entitled to your share of the equity in same. I suggest you consult a lawyer to assist you with realizing your share of the equity.
