I have been separated from my husband of three year for five months. We were married in Canada, but relocated out of the country last year. While living abroad our marriage became toxic; i left him & returned to Canada. My husband is pushing for a reconciliation, however i am very clear that our marriage will not work. My husband is refusing to grant me a divorce even though we are living in two different countries...how do i proceed?

Answer: We can obtain the divorce for you in Ontario, as long as your ordinary residence has been Ontario for at least 12 months before we commence the Divorce Application. His consent is not necessary. If you wish to obtain the divorce, please call me at: (866) 557-3222
