I am a father of 2 boys, separated since 2008,and I am in a process for divorce, I live in Toronto, my question and I want to get my girl friend in to my house and marry soon is there is any legal document that I can make between me and my girl friend that can protect me from legality issue ,my email lubnahelias@gmail.com

Answer: Absolutely. We can prepare a Cohabitation Agreement/Marriage Contract that deals with what happens if you separate either before/after you marry. This is extremely important, in particular, for both spousal support and property division. This is especially critical if she is moving into a home that you own.
