I got married in another country with the hopes of bringing my new spouse back to Canada with me, however they have changed their mind and refuses to leave their country. We however did not have a prenuptial agreement, and I am worried about having to split my assets if we were to divorce. In my current circumstances would I be able to seek an annulment?

An annulment is an option in the event the marriage was not consumated.
