we have been separated since december 1st 2012.there is no documentation to prove that. can we now file for divorce?

If one spouse acquires debt via credit card debt and can no longer pay for them, will the other spouse be responsible to pay them even though they are separated? What if the other spouse claims bankruptcy as a result of the inability to pay for these credit card debts?

My wife wants to separate and she told me we have to sell the house within 6 months of her moving out, can she force me to do that.

My husband and I are separating. We have agreed that he will buy me out of the house; however, the bank is saying they need papers. would this be the separation agreement? If so, would they accept one written amongst the both of us and not signed by a lawyer?
