Hello I'm thinking about a divorce but we have 3 kids. Can I relocate my kids to Mexico? I'm a from Mexico and I want to go there with my 3 kids..they were born here in Canada.... But if I stay, I don't think I can have a job to support my kids..!

You will need to provide formal written notice to your ex of at least 60 days notice of your intention to relocate with the children. If he objects you will likely need to apply for permission from the court to remove the children from BC. You’re spouse has an obligation to provide you with spousal and child support which may enable you to continue to live here. The test for the court is based on what is in the best interests of the children.
