My spouse is Canadian and I am American, we reside in the province of Quebec, St. Joseph du lac to be exact. In the event, we conceive children during the marriage and I want to move back to the US, will the courts grant me an order to leave the country with the children, allowing me to have full custody ?

If you have children and live here in Canada with your spouse you will not be automatically allowed to leave the country with the children because your nationality is not Canadian. To re-settle outside of the country with children you will need to be authorized to do so by the courts. To be so authorized you will need to demonstrate that the children’s new situation in the United States, far away from the father, will not just be in their best interest, but actually better for them than maintaining their residence in Canada.
