If my father is married and living commonlaw with someone else can the commonlaw partner go after our property and assets? My father has a written will from many years ago? thanks for your help!

You should consult with an Estates lawyer and a family law lawyer in your area.

Upon the break down of a common law relationship there is no automatic division of property.

However, the longer the relationship, the more likely that support and property claims may be made.

Without knowing details of the matter, I cannot comment any further.
